Clinical Development Medical Director – Biotechnology, Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage early and late-stage clinical trials for oncology products currently in development.

• Engage in the design and planning of clinical studies while assisting in the analysis of study outcomes.

• Establish and validate scientific methodologies for the creation and execution of clinical protocols, data collection systems, and final reports.

• May be responsible for recruiting clinical investigators for research studies.

• Oversee compliance with protocols and assess study completion.

⛳️ Requirements

• An MD is required, with board certification or eligibility in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology preferred but not mandatory, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of post-residency experience.

• Experience in drug development within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sector, or a combination of academia and industry.

• Practical experience in the design, execution, and reporting of controlled clinical trials in oncology.

• Involvement in clinical oncology studies utilizing molecular targeted or immunological therapies.

• A solid understanding of fundamental sciences pertinent to clinical oncology, including biochemistry, immunology, molecular biology, and/or genetics.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a cross-functional or matrix environment.

• Capable of developing technical and/or business solutions to intricate challenges.
