Clinical Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver clinical and technical assistance within hospital environments utilizing EP technology for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.

• Provide regional coverage for EP procedural cases in electrophysiology labs and/or operating rooms.

• Serve as a clinical liaison between the medical community and Abbott’s business operations.

• Establish and maintain clinical relationships with customers while sharing product knowledge and expertise.

• Offer engineering, sales, educational, and clinical support for Abbott EP products.

• Assist EP Sales Representatives through collaboration, regional training seminars, clinical studies/data collection, troubleshooting, and product training or demonstrations.

• Enhance engineering, sales, and technical competencies in alignment with the territory strategy.

• Stay informed about industry advancements, regulatory standards, company and competitor offerings, market trends, and strategic objectives.

• Provide management with valuable market and customer insights to guide strategy and product innovation.

• Relay work status, insights, feedback, and outcomes to managers and the team.

• Occasionally travel for in-person training and live procedure coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

• Assurance that all vendor credentialing prerequisites will be met.

• COVID-19 vaccination may be necessary for vendor credentialing.

• Capability to provide clinical and technical support for electrophysiology products.

• Willingness and capacity to travel, with the role indicating 50% travel requirements.

• Ability to operate within electrophysiology labs and/or operating room environments.

• Proficiency in understanding EP product technical details, software applications, and functionalities.

• Competency in supporting physicians, nurses, hospital personnel, sales representatives, and other healthcare professionals.
