This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.
• Delivers clinical training and support to customers as a subject matter expert in physics, either on-site or remotely, to ensure they are equipped to operate their equipment in accordance with minimum safety and effectiveness guidelines and to fully leverage the intricate functionalities of the technology to meet their business objectives.
• Conducts clinical applications training for customers, whether on-site or remotely, ensuring they are adequately prepared to operate their Varian Medical System equipment (both software and hardware) in compliance with minimum safety and effectiveness standards while achieving the highest satisfaction levels.
• Aids in managing customer clinical expectations.
• Supplies competitive product performance data to headquarters, marketing, or engineering teams as available.
• May organize or lead training courses for customers and/or employees.
• May present to large groups at seminars, training programs, and trade shows.
• May offer demo support at local, regional, and national customer trade events.
• May facilitate internal product meetings to support various groups within Varian.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams as needed to provide optimal services and enhance customer relations.
• Performs additional duties and functions to assist customers or internal Varian employees as needed.
• Up to 75% travel required during work weeks, with occasional weekend travel.

• Clinical knowledge of processes in a Radiation Oncology Department.
• Valid Passport is required.
• Ability to travel internationally.
• Board Certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Master’s degree or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Radiation Oncology is necessary.
• Must fulfill all Vendor Credentialing requirements to gain access to VMS client sites, unless restricted by law.
