This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develops, executes, and maintains clinical software, hardware, operating systems, and/or distributed clinical information systems of moderate complexity and scope.
• Assists in estimating resource requirements and scheduling system upgrades and modifications.
• Engages in intricate initiatives to assess patient care workflows across various clinical departments and to create and define IT solutions for enhanced system integration and functionality.
• Organizes tools and data related to medical records.
• Employs innovative management strategies to navigate complex scenarios.
• Collaborates with key clinical stakeholders on intricate projects to adjust workflows in response to new releases and system upgrades.
• Plans and executes enhancements to the functionality and efficiency of clinical applications.
• Acts as a liaison between vendors and IT leadership.
• Aids in the development of new projects across all levels of complexity and scope.
• Conducts systems analysis, planning, preparation, coding, testing, implementation, and coordination with clients and vendors.
• Designs and delivers user training on clinical information system workflows and processes, hardware, and/or operating systems at varying levels of complexity.
• Creates effective tools and resources for systems training.
• Resolves escalated issues of moderate complexity and scope related to clinical software, hardware, operating systems, and/or distributed clinical information systems.
• Identifies and coordinates necessary service and support among clinical engineering, IT, networks, departments, and external vendors.
• Suggests new solutions pertaining to workflows, processes, system designs, or developments as required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in health care information technology, computer science, or a related field, and/or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Epic certification in Radiant must be acquired within six months of hire.
