Clinical Application Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• On-site installation, configuration, training, and networking of medical devices for clients

• Provide clinical training for doctors, technicians, and support personnel

• Cultivate comprehensive clinical and product knowledge while collaborating with client physicians

• Offer clinical guidance and product assistance

• Engage in remote communication with customers during non-travel periods

• Set up, configure, network, and train end-users on devices

• Conduct or coordinate follow-up training sessions with end-users when necessary

• Collaborate closely with Topcon and customer IT departments for system integration

• Stay informed about clinical applications and suggest improvements

• Assist sales efforts by delivering product demonstrations

• Participate in trade show activities by installing and configuring systems

• Keep records of training sessions and support activities

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree in health science

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience and/or training in managing cross-functional projects

• 3-5 years of clinical experience in an ophthalmic setting

• COA, CRA, or OCT-C certification is a plus

• Preferred general product knowledge of ophthalmic equipment

• Basic understanding of ocular anatomy and physiology

• Familiarity with computer hardware and software applications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

• Capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks

• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle

• Candidates must possess a valid passport or REAL ID compliant identification

• Must be able to lift up to 300 lbs
