This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Accountable for the launch of Ionis’s inaugural wholly owned commercial product within the designated territory.
• Cultivate, maintain, and utilize networks and relationships within the local healthcare ecosystem.
• Formulate and implement effective business strategies to achieve both customer and Ionis objectives.
• Act as a collaborative cross-functional colleague, fostering trust and working alongside a diverse team.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and office staff to enhance awareness of the FCS disease state.
• Create a favorable prescribing experience by offering value-added resources.
• Engage in conferences and scientific meetings to inform HCPs about FCS.
• Implement brand strategic initiatives by devising customer-centric territory strategic account plans.
• Adapt strategies to fulfill business objectives within an assigned region.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• Proven experience in launching new products.
• Proficiency in account-based selling.
• Experience engaging with HCPs and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional field teams.
• Prior experience managing a sales territory independently.
• Background in cardiology, endocrinology, or other specialties that treat FCS patients.
• Experience with injectables is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS) community.
• Established connections with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and major accounts.
• Capability to analyze market data and create territory strategies.
• Proven track record of navigating complex accounts and aligning solutions with patient needs.
• Strong clinical knowledge and dedication to addressing patient needs.
