This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Create and communicate clinical messages to physicians, members, clients, and consultants.
• Oversee formulary strategy and the development of clinical policies.
• Develop clinical programs that encompass both medical and pharmacy benefit management.
• Define, document, and present results for plan sponsors.
• Analyze and summarize clinical literature along with the financial implications related to medication management alternatives.
• Process clinical prior authorizations and conduct retrospective reviews.
• Deliver comprehensive clinical and cost-effectiveness information in a peer-to-peer consultation format.
• Engage in, comply with, and promote adherence to compliance, people and culture, and learning initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Must be a graduate of an ACPE Accredited School of Pharmacy with either a B.S. Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Must possess current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of residence, or the ability to obtain reciprocity within 4 months, depending on state laws or client agreements.
• Board of Pharmacy Certification is preferred in Pharmacotherapy, Ambulatory Care, or Oncology Care.
• Required knowledge in pharmacy and medical specialty benefits along with experience in clinical account management.
• Previous experience with P&T Committees or formulary development is required.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical or managed care experience, or completion of a Clinical/Managed Care Pharmacy Residency is necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.
• STAR Bonus % (At Risk Maximum) 5.00
• Work schedule of M-F from 8am to 5pm
