This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.
• Identifying and developing business opportunities for emission reduction projects.
• Familiarizing with carbon and environmental quantification standards such as VCS, Gold Standard, I-REC, GCC, and others.
• Participating in the implementation and management of emission reduction projects.
• Preparing technical project documentation and stakeholder consultations as required.
• Conducting site visits and traveling to project locations when necessary.
• Maintaining positive relationships with project owners and third-party stakeholders such as auditors and others.
• Engaging with companies to provide consulting services in sustainability, carbon footprint reduction, GHG reduction target setting, and more.
• Researching and analyzing available information sources such as CDP, news articles, and internet searches related to acquiring new corporate clients.
• Learning about topics such as GHG footprint measurement, Science-Based Targets (SBTs), Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and GRI reporting.
• Directly managing or supporting the delivery of core corporate sustainability advisory services.
• Reviewing technical documents prepared by team members and third parties such as auditors, project owners, and partners.
• Following guidelines, tools, and internal software to ensure that information and key milestones are consistently updated.
• Establishing a vision, strategy, goals, and priorities for the Coral Future project portfolio and sustainability services while proactively seeking new business opportunities.
• University degree in Engineering, Science, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 0-3 years of Project Management experience or related experience is an advantage. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in business development is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, research, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to write high-quality technical documents in English.
• Capable of explaining complex topics in a simple manner to various stakeholders.
• Proficient in managing timelines and targets, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including to remote project locations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective interaction with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and multicultural international environment.
• Proficient in online communication through channels such as WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, and across various time zones.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and Google Workspaces.
• Proficiency in English and Malay is required.
