Client Support Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain regular engagement with our client base to foster growth in contract sales and service jobs for both new and existing customers.

• Manage, document, and provide daily communication and support while resolving issues for all contacts at assigned customer locations, ensuring adherence to expected response times and escalation protocols.

• Maintain expert knowledge of assigned contracts to effectively educate customers on contract guidelines and restrictions.

• Utilize internal systems to oversee various aspects of order activity, including order placement, quotations, proof of delivery, and service requests, while complying with established timeframes and metrics.

• Collaborate with colleagues internally to ensure the delivery of exceptional service to our customers.

• Source incidental service requirements as needed.

• Assist the Sourcing Team during periods of high volume.


⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. This may include military personnel with relevant training or experience in lieu of civilian qualifications.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, particularly in supporting government customers, is preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with a genuine enjoyment of engaging with customers to exchange information clearly and accurately in all scenarios.

• Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English is required, with effective communication abilities in both languages.

• Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of executing multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to varying requirements and deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to shift focus as needed and prioritize tasks independently.

• Strong attention to detail is essential, with the ability to review and comprehend multiple contracts and their distinct requirements.

• Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of accountability, taking initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

• Ability to be agile and resourceful, employing critical thinking to devise creative solutions to customer challenges.

• Exhibits strong team-building qualities by assisting team members and collaborating with internal departments of varying expertise when necessary.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
