This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Serve as the main point of contact for sponsoring clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
• Onboard clients, comprehend their objectives, and ensure they derive value from their partnership.
• Provide an outstanding post-sales customer experience that fosters positive reviews and contract renewals.
• Accurately manage client deliverables and information flow in a timely manner.
• Conduct feedback calls after events to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for upselling or renewals.
• Prepare various communications including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, memos, emails, and presentations.
• Take ownership of renewal rates and customer satisfaction key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Cultivate relationships with conference venues, caterers, AV and production vendors, and hotels.
• Research and assess venues while negotiating contracts and event orders.
• Read and interpret banquet event orders, venue contracts, and vendor quotes.
• Assess dates and venues based on conference calendars, attendance trends, travel logistics, and costs.
• Coordinate travel, lodging, and shipping for the team, speakers, and client materials.
• Resolve vendor-related issues on-site during events.
• Construct and reconcile event budgets based on vendor quotes.
• Monitor event costs in relation to the budget and report any variances.
• Review invoices and contract terms to identify discrepancies.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of event costs and obligations.
• A minimum of a 4-year college or university degree is required for this position.
• At least 3 years of full-time, professional experience post-graduation is necessary.
• Direct experience in customer/client success, particularly in events, conferences, hospitality, or sales is preferred.
• Proven experience managing budgets, vendor quotes, or contracts—whether through building, negotiating, or ensuring accuracy.
• A quantitative foundation from studies in economics, finance, accounting, statistics, or roles involving reconciliation of numbers.
• Background in areas with genuine logistical complexity, such as event or production management, hospitality, restaurant operations, travel, supply chain operations, procurement, or campaign management.
• Basic proficiency in business software, including MS Office products, Google for Business, or similar tools.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently for events.
