This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the strategic vision and daily management of a significant client account, executing integrated Medical Affairs and Publications programs.
• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, serving as a strategic advisor and adeptly navigating intricate business discussions.
• Collaborate with Scientific Services, Editorial, Digital, Creative, and Operations teams to create and deliver top-notch scientific communications that align with client goals.
• Manage the financial performance of the account, including forecasting, budgeting, profitability, resource planning, and identifying avenues for organic growth.
• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the Client Services team, promoting a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
• Enhance operational excellence by applying best practices, refining delivery processes, and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution throughout the account.
• Assist in business development through proposals, strategic planning, and recognizing opportunities to strengthen the client partnership.
• Work with senior leadership to support wider business initiatives, resource planning, and the ongoing development of our client services offerings.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, including Medical Affairs, scientific publications, AI, and omnichannel engagement, providing innovative ideas and strategic insights to clients and internal teams.
• Extensive experience in Client Services within a medical communications agency, with considerable expertise in supporting Medical Affairs and/or Publications accounts.
• Proven capability to cultivate trusted relationships with senior pharmaceutical clients and lead complex, integrated scientific communications initiatives.
• Strong commercial and financial insight, with a background in managing budgets, forecasting, profitability, and fostering organic account growth.
• Experience in leading, coaching, and developing high-performing Client Services teams while working collaboratively across multidisciplinary functions.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management abilities, with the confidence to influence, address challenges, and lead through complexity.
• Experience in supporting business development efforts, including proposals, pitches, and expanding existing client partnerships.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented leader who is dedicated to providing outstanding client experiences, developing talent, and driving continuous improvement.
