Client Service Specialist, Commercial Risk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare documentation for presenting market risks

• Create applications, summaries of insurance, insurance certificates, auto identification cards, and other documents related to coverage

• Draft and update renewal proposals

• Support client service teams with presentation materials

• Analyze and condense complex data, compiling reports under supervision

• Enter data into insurance company and firm software programs

• Generate cancellation and expiration reports

• Process endorsements and audits to completion

• Handle Notices of Cancellations

• Request Loss Runs

• Provide quotes for flood and builder’s risk policies as requested by an Account Manager

• Renew bonds and flood policies

• Complete assigned special projects

• Identify opportunities for improvement within the firm, business segment, and processes

• Escalate issues and discrepancies to the appropriate leadership

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the insurance industry is required

• Preferred 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry

• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Capability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Willingness to learn other relevant programs or software systems utilized by the firm

• Exhibits behavior that aligns with the organization’s core values and culture

• No certifications are required

• Must maintain all licenses required by the State Department of Insurance to provide services, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in applicable states, or be willing and able to obtain the necessary licenses within the first 90 days of employment
