Client Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary contact for designated employer groups and broker partners on a daily basis.

• Address client inquiries related to plan design, eligibility, claims processing, and benefit administration.

• Aid in the onboarding process for new groups, which includes setting up plan documents, eligibility files, and billing procedures.

• Investigate and resolve client issues concerning claims, enrollment, and discrepancies in the system with various internal departments.

• Ensure compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and company policies.

• Assist in preparing client reports on claims utilization, cost trends, and performance summaries.

• Support account managers with renewals, plan modifications, and open enrollment processes.

• Keep accurate client records in CRM and administrative systems.

• Work in collaboration with underwriting, claims, and IT teams to address issues and maintain data integrity.

• Offer feedback for process improvements to leadership to enhance client satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years in a client-facing service role with experience in self-funded health insurance and/or third-party benefit plan administration.

• Strong understanding of health insurance terminology, funding models, and health savings accounts.

• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and customer service skills.

• Proficient in managing and prioritizing multiple cases.

• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.

• A strong desire to resolve issues quickly and communicate efficiently with both internal and external partners.
