This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and expand a portfolio of 10–20 enterprise accounts within the Retail, CPG, and Pharma sectors, including both current clients and targeted new logos.
• Facilitate renewals and growth through upselling and cross-selling strategies.
• Discover new business units, teams, and applications for Knit’s platform, such as shopper journey analysis, packaging and claims testing, assortment and category strategy, innovation pipelines, brand positioning, and research for patients and healthcare professionals (HCP).
• Serve as a strategic consultant to senior leaders in Consumer & Shopper Insights, Category Management, Brand, Commercial Insights, and Market Research.
• Create and implement account plans that identify opportunities, prioritize client objectives, map stakeholders, and drive revenue growth.
• Lead commercial negotiations for renewals, upsells, and cross-sells in collaboration with Sales Leadership.
• Work closely with Customer Success, Research, and Product teams to maximize client value and enhance platform adoption.
• Represent Knit at conferences, client summits, and industry events related to Retail, CPG, and Pharma.
• Ensure pipeline integrity, forecast accuracy, and thorough documentation.
• Establish new enterprise partnerships and drive revenue growth through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise account management, client partnerships, or strategic sales within the research and insights sector.
• Proven experience in selling to and growing accounts with retailers, CPG manufacturers, and/or pharmaceutical or healthcare organizations.
• A solid understanding of how insights teams support Brand, Category, and Commercial functions.
• Experience in autonomously managing customer relationships and entering new buying centers within existing enterprise accounts.
• Experience supporting clients at Fortune 500 companies, including positions such as Chief Research/Insights Officers, VPs, and directors or higher.
• Proven track record of selling contracts exceeding $100K to Fortune 500 clients and managing enterprise relationships worth over $1M.
• Demonstrated success in managing Fortune 500 clients with multi-business-unit complexity.
• Consistent history of meeting or surpassing growth, renewal, or Net Revenue Retention (NRR) targets.
• Experience leading commercial negotiations for contracts valued in the six- and seven-figure range.
• A consultative, discovery-oriented approach with outstanding listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with disciplined management of pipeline and accounts.
• Strong collaborative skills across Customer Success, Research, and Product teams.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shaping processes as the organization evolves.
• Nice to have: experience selling to pharmaceutical commercial/market research teams, including considerations for HCP and patient research and compliance.
• Nice to have: familiarity with retailer-manufacturer dynamics, category management, or retail media.
• Nice to have: background in SaaS, AI, or technology-enabled services.
