This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Take ownership of a personal revenue quota, consistently meeting or surpassing quarterly and annual objectives.
• Develop and implement territory plans that identify priority districts and schools while reflecting pertinent education funding policies.
• Maintain a robust pipeline, mitigate revenue risks, expedite key deals, and enhance existing relationships.
• Oversee the complete sales process involving superintendents, district leaders, principals, and other educational stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough discovery sessions and convert client needs into customized FranklinCovey solutions.
• Create strategic account plans that include multi-year expansion strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, and success metrics.
• Navigate intricate purchasing processes, encompassing RFPs, board approvals, and budget cycles.
• Utilize Salesforce, Domo, and other necessary tools to manage the pipeline, track opportunities, and sustain precise forecasts.
• Engage in cross-functional territory pods to synchronize outreach efforts and share valuable insights.
• Collaborate with coaches, implementation, and retention teams to facilitate deal transitions and identify renewal and expansion opportunities.
• Work closely with the Managing Director and sales leaders on territory strategy, complex deals, and overarching sales insights.
• Keep Salesforce and other essential systems accurate and up-to-date.
• Implement coaching and feedback to enhance sales execution.
• Identify performance gaps, experiment with various approaches, and modify strategies to boost results.
• Participate in training and self-development initiatives while sharing effective practices with the team.
• Travel as necessary for client meetings, industry events, and internal gatherings.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in education sales, education services, or school/district leadership.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience selling to K–12 districts.
• Demonstrated history of consistently achieving or exceeding a multi-million-dollar annual quota or equivalent performance target.
• Proven ability to drive results through disciplined territory management and consultative selling techniques.
• Successful track record of winning and expanding business in complex, ambiguous, or rapidly evolving environments.
• Capability to lead strategic discussions with senior district and school leaders.
• Proficiency in diagnosing performance challenges within a territory and implementing effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to persuade in virtual and in-person settings.
• Experience with Salesforce, Domo, and other required tools.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for client meetings, industry events, and internal meetings.
