This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of a portfolio comprising 10–20 enterprise accounts within the Food & Beverage, QSR & Auto sectors, including both existing clients and targeted new logos.
• Drive renewals and expansion efforts, enhancing partnerships in terms of scope, scale, and value year after year.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities across various business units, teams, and use cases, including concept and menu testing, flavor and product innovation, LTO evaluation, brand tracking, pricing, vehicle feature prioritization, and path-to-purchase research.
• Provide strategic advice to senior leaders in Consumer & Shopper Insights, Innovation, Menu Strategy, Brand, Customer Experience, and Product Planning.
• Develop and implement account plans, identify whitespace, prioritize client objectives, map stakeholders, and drive revenue growth.
• Lead commercial negotiations for renewals, upsells, and cross-sells in collaboration with Sales Leadership.
• Work closely with Customer Success, Research, and Product teams to ensure clients derive value from Knit’s AI-native platform.
• Represent Knit at industry conferences, client summits, and other events.
• Ensure pipeline integrity, forecasting accuracy, and comprehensive documentation.
• Propel net-new revenue, net revenue retention, renewal rates, and sales excellence.
• Over 7 years of experience in enterprise account management, client partnerships, or strategic sales within the research and insights industry.
• Direct experience in selling to and expanding accounts at food & beverage manufacturers, QSR/restaurant brands, and/or automotive OEMs.
• A solid understanding of how insights teams contribute to Innovation, Brand, and Marketing strategies.
• Proven ability to autonomously manage customer relationships and explore new buying centers within existing enterprise accounts.
• Experience in supporting clients at Fortune 500 companies, particularly with Insights titles such as Chief Research/Insights Officers, VP, and director-level positions or above.
• Experience in negotiating and selling contracts of $100K+ to Fortune 500 companies while managing Enterprise relationships valued at over $1M.
• Demonstrated success in managing Fortune 500 clients with complex multi-business-unit structures.
• A consistent record of meeting or surpassing growth, renewal, or NRR targets.
• Experience leading commercial negotiations for contracts worth six to seven figures.
• A consultative, discovery-driven approach with outstanding listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with disciplined pipeline and account management practices.
• Strong collaboration skills across Customer Success, Research, and Product teams.
• A builder’s mindset; comfortable navigating ambiguity and shaping processes as the company scales.
