Client Engagement Specialist, Trading Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Respond to clients’ inquiries regarding trading, futures, consumer services, Kraken Desktop, and Crypto DW through text and live support channels.

• Identify and resolve issues related to clients’ trading, futures, Kraken Desktop, and Crypto DW.

• Evaluate and provide insights on new trading features prior to their launch.

• Assist in managing the Consumer/Trading/Futures/Kraken Desktop support team, which includes quality assurance, training materials, and Confluence documentation.

• Offer detailed calculations for fees, margin levels, and explanations of profit/loss.

• Potentially oversee trading activities to detect fraudulent actions or trade-out attacks.

• Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams such as product development, compliance, engineering, and support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous customer service experience providing a five-star client experience.

• Familiarity with trading platforms for digital or other assets, including advanced trading platforms.

• Understanding of trading principles and charting techniques.

• Knowledge of leveraged trading concepts, including futures and/or margin trading.

• Strong mathematical abilities.

• Capacity to learn quickly and adjust to evolving products.

• Proficient in English.

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

• Preferred: extensive knowledge of cryptocurrency.

• Preferred: experience with Google Sheets and Google Script.

• Preferred: familiarity with Kraken’s platform API or similar systems.

• Preferred: proficiency in French, German, and/or Spanish.

• Preferred: background in data analytics.
