This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and guidance to Associate Project Managers and Implementation Coordinators on a daily basis.
• Enhance team capabilities through the development of career growth plans, performance evaluations, continual feedback, and opportunities for professional advancement.
• Engage in hiring, selection, onboarding, training, and retention efforts for DPMO staff.
• Create, document, implement, and consistently improve project management processes, standards, templates, and tools.
• Manage strategic customer projects, high-profile customer implementations, and enterprise initiatives from initiation to completion.
• Supervise project governance, which includes project status updates, resource allocation, milestone tracking, risk mitigation strategies, and issue escalation protocols.
• Assist in the management of project escalations for at-risk projects and complex customer situations.
• Contribute to the development of delivery metrics, KPIs, and quality indicators to support ongoing improvement.
• Collaborate with departmental leadership on departmental objectives and long-term delivery strategies.
• Facilitate cooperation among Delivery, Implementation, Support, Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Customer stakeholders.
• Act as a senior contact for escalated delivery and implementation issues.
• Encourage compliance with Quality Management System requirements, documentation standards, and organizational policies.
• A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year institution in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Clinical, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI-ACP, or a similar project management certification.
• 5–7 years of management-level experience in PMO within healthcare or business technologies, or analogous technology in other fields; PMO experience is mandatory.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with project management tools and/or software applications.
• Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to quickly adapt and respond to shifts in environment and priorities.
• Capability to gain cooperation from senior management and other departments.
• Demonstrated history of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and learn swiftly.
• Detail-oriented, with a thorough approach to troubleshooting issues.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ownership and follow-through on various issues.
• Proficient time management abilities.
• Travel requirements are not expected to exceed 10–20%, with occasional overnight stays depending on client activities and project demands.
