• Facilitates the effective execution of various intricate financial institution debit and/or credit projects by performing diverse technical tasks and quality assessments.
• Guides client consultations regarding both business and technical requirements, integrating these needs into the comprehensive project plan.
• Assigned to manage complex, high-visibility client projects, taking on a technical leadership role to oversee all phases of operational implementation for technical project deliverables.
• Engages with clients to review specifications for intricate projects, collaborates with clients and vendors to evaluate project options, and organizes meetings with essential client personnel as necessary.
• Conducts Gap Analysis to identify system setup requirements.
• Offers consulting and advice to clients on the optimal strategies to address their business requirements for assigned implementations.
• Serves as a liaison between technical teams at client and vendor sites, mapping technical files across systems.
• Collaborates with client personnel and vendors to carry out the project plan, ensuring technical tasks are performed accurately and within deadlines.
• Identifies and communicates unresolved issues to the project manager; aids in the resolution of these issues.
• Maintains quality throughout the implementation process; conveys technical specifications and requirements of implementations to third-party vendors and the internal Project Support Team.
• Validates system parameters and performs testing, adjusting program parameters as needed.
• Provides technical assistance to clients during the design, development, and implementation stages of the project.
• Offers extended hour support post-implementation for projects, along with occasional on-site assistance as required.
• Adheres to change control and relevant change management procedures.
• Aids in the training and mentoring of less experienced Analysts.
• Contributes to the development of new product/service requirements templates and procedural guidelines.
• Understands and completes tasks related to various departmental projects.
• Provides after-hours on-call support for project installations as necessary.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or an equivalent combination of experience and education is mandatory.
• Training in Six Sigma Methodology and project management certification is preferred.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in the payment processing industry is required.
• A thorough understanding of payment card products, support services, and associated processes is essential.
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in business or system analysis is necessary.
• A minimum of three (3) years of client-facing project support experience is required.
• Experience in completing card processing conversions, including data migration from one processing platform to another, is essential.
• Strongly preferred experience with the Optis Credit platform processing.
