Client Advocate I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Assist in the service and administration of Meritain products

• Cultivate relationships with designated clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders

• Oversee activity and reporting for the assigned portfolio

• Provide both proactive and reactive assistance for client-related issues

• Aid in client retention and drive profitable growth

• Respond to customer inquiries within one business day

• Establish and maintain PDET cases following policy guidelines

• Serve as the primary point of contact for operational inquiries and escalated matters

• Address issues related to claims, enrollment, ID cards, COBRA, FSA, network operations, PBM, customer service, EDI files, and finance

• Analyze plan documents and ensure client inquiries are resolved

• Conduct training sessions for the client portal

• Assist operational departments in enhancing workflow and processes

• Identify opportunities that align with account owners’ strategic objectives

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in the health insurance sector

• 2–3 years of experience in claims processing

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• 2 years of relevant professional experience

• Prior experience with stop-loss products is preferred

• Familiarity with DG and Salesforce is preferred

• General knowledge of Meritain applications is preferred

• Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams is preferred

• Strong ability to meet deadlines

• Effective decision-making capabilities

• Skills in conflict resolution, flexibility, time management, and active listening

• Knowledge and experience in administrative operations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional context
