This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with FAI’s global team consisting of strategists, scientists, data analysts, software developers, and supply chain specialists to implement impactful programs.
• Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and assessment of significant client accounts and sustainability initiatives.
• Manage budgets, work schedules, timelines, and client communications to ensure the delivery of high-quality results.
• Develop strong, trustworthy relationships with client teams to comprehend their requirements and provide substantial value.
• Offer consultancy support, which includes drafting technical reports, position statements, and delivering presentations.
• Share expertise on retail supply chains, livestock production systems, and the challenges in animal agriculture.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of FAI’s data systems and digital tools (e.g., Insite) by incorporating user feedback and program insights.
• Discover opportunities to broaden existing client programs or create new solutions.
• Aid in the creation of proposals, strategic pitches, and scoping discussions in collaboration with the Sales and Consultancy teams.
• Demonstrated experience in retail, food supply chains, or terrestrial livestock/agriculture industries.
• Strong project management capabilities in planning, execution, budgeting, and assessment.
• Experience in client-facing positions with a history of establishing and maintaining robust relationships.
• Capability to produce high-quality results in fast-paced environments with competing deadlines.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient digital skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management software, data management).
• A degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Agriculture, Sustainability, Food Systems, Animal Science, or related disciplines.
• Understanding of sustainability challenges within food and farming systems, encompassing welfare, environmental performance, and regenerative agriculture.
• Experience in identifying new business prospects or contributing to consultancy proposals.
