Claims Representative, Recovery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Evaluates and processes intricate claims

• Engages with high-stakes claims that involve litigation

• Ensures that ongoing claims adhere to service expectations, industry best practices, and specific client service standards

• Identifies and seeks potential third-party subrogation recoveries linked to the most significant exposure and complexity claims

• Reviews high-stakes, complex multi-jurisdictional claims to determine the viability of third-party subrogation recovery

• Offers subrogation guidance and direction to both internal and external stakeholders

• Develops and actively pursues third-party subrogation

• Sends appropriate subrogation lien notifications to relevant parties

• Collects necessary information to support valid subrogation claims

• Provides direction to assigned subrogation counsel

• Maintains a diary for active claims with subrogation potential

• Approves and processes timely claim payments concerning subrogation

• Manages claim recoveries, including but not limited to subrogation

• Prepares status reports for clients as needed

• Oversees the litigation process

• Develops training materials and facilitates departmental training sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of six (6) years of experience in multi-jurisdictional liability claims handling or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred

• Licenses as required

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities

• Proficient in PC operations, including Microsoft Office applications

• Strong analytical and interpretive skills

• Excellent organizational capabilities

• Good interpersonal skills

• Capacity to work effectively in a team environment

• Ability to meet or exceed service expectations
