Claims Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversees complex medical malpractice claims with significant exposure.

• Serves as the BSMH representative during pre-trial hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and frequently attends trials.

• Directs staff in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

• Conducts annual assessments of defense counsel effectiveness.

• Implements and monitors claims associated with the Early Liability Review Program.

• Ensures timely establishment of precise reserves based on established formulas.

• Collaborates extensively with external defense counsel to manage claims effectively.

• Reviews policies to ensure adequate coverage scope within commercial policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in handling Professional Liability Claims.

• Completion of insurance courses such as CPCU, AIC, ARM, or from the INS Institute.
