This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee daily claims operations within designated lines of business.
• Guarantee consistent, prompt, and precise claim processing that aligns with company standards.
• Track claim inventory, cycle times, severity, leakage, and reserve sufficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit standards.
• Directly manage a team of claims professionals.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing claims team.
• Set clear performance expectations and carry out regular coaching and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with Claims Leadership, Actuarial, Finance, and Legal departments to oversee indemnity and expense results.
• Promote a customer-focused claims experience while balancing business and compliance needs.
• Implement enterprise-wide and claims-specific initiatives, including process enhancements, technology integration, and operational transformation.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in claims within property and casualty insurance.
• 3+ years of experience in people management within a claims setting.
• Proven track record in leading change initiatives or large-scale operational enhancements.
• Previous experience managing multiple lines of business or geographically diverse teams.
• Strong understanding of property and casualty claims handling practices, coverage interpretation, reserving, and litigation management.
• Demonstrated experience in a regulated environment; experience with public companies is preferred.
• Proficient in claims management systems and performance metrics.
