This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage a portfolio of General Liability and Unsupported Excess Liability claims.
• Guarantee prompt, comprehensive, and cost-efficient resolution of claims by Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
• Work collaboratively with leadership, underwriting, actuarial, and technology teams to enhance the claim management platform.
• Establish best practices across various casualty market segments, such as construction, hospitality, manufacturing, real estate, retail, and habitational risks.
• Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to secure exceptional claim outcomes.
• Employ a data-driven strategy for effective claims management.
• Over 10 years of experience in handling Commercial General Liability (CGL) claims related to Bodily Injury, Property Damage, and Personal & Advertising Injury.
• More than 5 years of experience managing litigated CGL claims, including the development and execution of defense strategies.
• At least 3 years of experience dealing with non-admitted market Excess & Surplus Lines claims.
• A minimum of 2 years overseeing claims managed by Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
• Over 2 years of experience supervising claims professionals, focusing on coaching, mentoring, and performance enhancement.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze coverage and draft reservation of rights or coverage decision letters.
• Strong skills in litigation management, including the selection, direction, and evaluation of defense counsel.
• Experience in participating in quality assurance claim file reviews and driving process improvements.
• Analytical mindset: Capable of dissecting complex claims, assessing exposure, and formulating actionable strategies.
• Expertise in coverage: Ability to interpret and apply policy language with accuracy and clarity.
• Excellent communication skills: Ability to foster alignment among underwriting, legal, product, and operations teams.
• Proficient in technology and innovation: Skilled with modern claims systems, data, and analytics tools, and eager to implement workflow enhancements that promote speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
