This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
β’ Evaluate workers' compensation claims for our esteemed clients to ascertain the benefits owed.
β’ Ensure continual adjudication of claims aligns with service expectations, industry best practices, and specific requirements set by clients.
β’ Assess and process claims through well-structured action plans to achieve appropriate and timely resolutions by investigating and collecting information to understand the claim's exposure.
β’ Negotiate settlements of claims within the established authority limits.
β’ Maintain communication regarding claim activities and processing with both the claimant and the client.
β’ Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests for direction in a professional and timely manner.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of claims management experience or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.
β’ A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
β’ A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
β’ Professional certification relevant to the line of business is advantageous.
β’ Knowledge of licensing and jurisdiction in FL, GA, LA, SC, NC, and TX is essential.
