Claims Examiner, Workers Compensation I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluating and managing claims through well-structured action plans to achieve appropriate and timely resolutions by investigating and collecting information to assess the claim's exposure.

• Facilitating negotiations for claims settlements within established authority limits.

• Keeping the claimant and client informed about claim activities and processing.

• Submitting claims to the excess carrier and professionally responding to requests for direction in a timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in claims management or a suitable combination of education and experience is required.

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.

• Knowledge of licensing and jurisdiction in NJ, PA, VT, NH, MA, CT, DE, RI, ME.
