Claims Care Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Responding to inquiries from claimants about potential group insurance offerings within a call center setting.

• Serving as a liaison between the employee (member) and the claims examiner to ensure a satisfactory customer experience.

• Educating customers on their claims-related needs and questions, while guiding them through the subsequent steps in the process.

• Engaging with approximately 50-60 customers daily.

• Providing benefit verification as required for members.

• Offering educational support to customers and employers about the products, with a focus on FMLA and disability.

• Demonstrating meticulous attention to detail to ensure proper documentation of claims and leaves.

• Communicating effectively via email and phone with both internal and external stakeholders in a professional, customer-focused manner.

• Identifying, suggesting, and advocating for process enhancements and organizational initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Minimum internet bandwidth of 12 Mbps (Megabits per second) is required.

• Preferred bandwidth of 25 Mbps for optimal performance.

• Experience in data entry and research within a fast-paced environment is preferred.

• Ability to navigate through multiple systems as needed is preferred.
