Claims Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Conducts investigations and modifies claims, while guiding external defense attorneys, independent adjusters, experts, and other service providers throughout the claims management process.

• Aids the Claim Manager in recognizing potential exposures and proposes viable solutions.

• Notifies the Claim Manager regarding modifications and proposed alterations in legislation that may influence Ryder’s liability program.

• Engages in continuous communication with field and operational management, legal advisors, safety officers, clients, insurance providers, and third-party claimants.

• Oversees external vendors engaged for investigations, cost control, expert testimonies, and management of litigation.

• Regularly collaborates with primary and excess insurance providers, as well as reinsurers, on cases that meet reporting criteria.

• Investigates and addresses intricate and high-exposure claims against Ryder and our insured customers.

• Ensures that all claims are resolved in the most suitable and cost-effective manner while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

• At least seven (7+) years of experience in casualty claims is necessary.

• Proficiency in claims technical skills is essential.

• Adjuster licenses are mandatory for various states.

• Proven capability to manage high-exposure and complex claims, including litigated issues and coverage disputes.

• In-depth knowledge of all pertinent laws and regulations, along with associated medical and legal terminology, is required.

• Superior claims technical skills are required.

• A thorough understanding of insurance coverage is essential.

• State licenses are advantageous.
