Claims Adjuster – Workers Compensation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Analyze mid- and higher-level workers' compensation claims to ascertain the benefits owed.

• Ensure the continuous adjudication of claims in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.

• Identify subrogation opportunities for claims and engage in settlement negotiations.

• Oversee the management of workers' compensation claims, determining compensability and benefits for long-term indemnity claims.

• Monitor the accuracy of reserves and submit necessary documentation to the state agency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• A minimum of four (4) years of claims management experience or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.

• Knowledge of jurisdictional laws in MI, TX, IN, IL, and OH.

• Must be a resident of the home state.
