This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Oversee medical malpractice claims for designated members
• Evaluate and track new claims for assigned members
• Develop a strategy for achieving favorable claim outcomes
• Organize and lead member meetings and claim assessments
• Assess and suggest suitable case reserves
• Negotiate settlements and offer insights during trials
• Advocate for and act as a resource and collaborator with physician members
• Bachelor’s degree or a relevant combination of education and experience is necessary
• Juris Doctorate is preferred
• Three to five (3-5) years of experience in medical malpractice or a similar claims-related field
