This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Investigate and assess accident benefit claims to establish eligibility for coverage and determine the suitable resolution.
• Handle a variety of claims, including those related to medical rehabilitation and disability.
• Coordinate actions and decisions to achieve the most effective outcome for each claim.
• Maintain comprehensive and precise records in the electronic claims system.
• Address claimant correspondence and accident benefit forms in accordance with legislative requirements.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned to support the department and fulfill organizational objectives.
• Exceptional communication abilities for effective interactions with claimants and representatives, along with a dedication to delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience in a medical or legal setting, or a background in these fields, is advantageous.
• Minimum post-secondary education or its equivalent is required.
• Preferred experience of 1-2 years in adjusting insurance claims or a similar position.
• Enrolled in or having completed the CIP designation.
