This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Conduct traditional civil design engineering and analysis for substation and site development initiatives.
β’ Offer technical direction on projects ranging from low to medium complexity.
β’ Oversee engineering design elements, schedules, budgets, quality assurance, coordination, permitting, specifications, procurement, and construction processes.
β’ Gather, organize, and manage site development engineering data while integrating client-specific design standards.
β’ Coordinate technical details and make project engineering execution decisions in accordance with applicable policies, standards, guidelines, and contractual commitments.
β’ Design or supervise site grading, pavement, landscaping, and utilities for stormwater, sanitary, and water systems.
β’ Design or oversee both temporary and permanent Best Management Practices (BMPs) for construction and stormwater management.
β’ Create or lead drawing packages that include geometric layout, grading, drainage, underground utilities, and details.
β’ Collaborate on civil site design with designers, engineers, project managers, other disciplines, and partner consultants.
β’ Lead or participate in client meetings, communications, conference calls, and on-site visits.
β’ Review zoning ordinances and develop site configurations.
β’ Assist with permits related to stormwater, sanitary systems, water mains, Soil Erosion and Sediment Control (SESC), and floodplain projects.
β’ Analyze and support CAD operations with formatting topographic survey data.
β’ Review Requests for Information (RFIs), contractor submissions, and shop drawings.
β’ Assist in preparing proposals, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), project estimates, and business development efforts.
β’ Ensure adherence to the company's quality assurance program.
β’ Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable ABET-accredited qualification.
β’ Professional Engineering (PE) license is mandatory.
β’ A minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering.
β’ Experience in civil land development across commercial, industrial, governmental, or aviation sectors is essential.
β’ Construction experience is advantageous.
β’ Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
β’ Capability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently.
β’ Willingness to travel for meetings and client engagements across the United States.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and MicroStation is required.
β’ Expertise in Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads is expected.
β’ Must be eligible to work in the United States.
