Civil Engineer – Estimator, AI-Powered

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Generate accurate cost estimates and quotations for civil construction initiatives.

• Perform quantity take-offs utilizing plans and technical drawings.

• Assess and analyze project specifications, tender documents, and engineering designs.

• Leverage Claude AI to enhance the estimating process, documentation, report generation, and workflow automation.

• Analyze project costs, encompassing materials, labor, and subcontractor expenses.

• Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

• Prepare and submit tenders while managing revisions to estimates.

• Maintain and refresh estimating databases and pricing records.

• Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance estimating processes using AI and technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Previous experience as a Civil Estimator, Cost Estimator, or Quantity Surveyor.

• Strong understanding of civil construction techniques and estimating methodologies.

• Proven capability to read and interpret engineering plans and technical drawings.

• Professional experience with Claude AI (or similar AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot).

• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

• Remarkable attention to detail and a dedication to precision.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Capacity to excel in a remote, self-directed work setting.
