Civil Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess and analyze AI-generated content pertaining to civil engineering to ensure technical accuracy, thoroughness, and engineering integrity.

• Deliver clear, substantiated responses and expert evaluations drawn from your professional engineering background.

• Suggest reputable references, engineering standards, and technical materials that are pertinent to your specialized field.

• Contribute insights regarding practical civil engineering workflows, project implementation, design methodologies, documentation, and industry best practices.

• Work in conjunction with a diverse team of subject matter experts to enhance the quality and consistency of AI models.

• Detect technical errors, vague instructions, and opportunities for improvement in AI-generated engineering outputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States.

• 2+ years of professional civil engineering experience, ideally across various disciplines such as structural, geotechnical, transportation, water resources, construction, or municipal engineering.

• Strong knowledge of relevant engineering codes and standards, including ASCE, IBC, AASHTO, and associated regulations.

• Practical experience with industry-standard engineering software like AutoCAD Civil 3D, STAAD, Revit, Bentley applications, or equivalent tools.

• Experience in preparing technical specifications, engineering reports, design documentation, or training materials is preferred.

• Proficient in utilizing modern AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms.

• Must be based in the United States.

• Professional-level English communication skills.

• Able to consistently dedicate approximately 10 hours per week.
