This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to create a variety of engineering solutions, from initial concepts to detailed design and construction phases.
• Accountable for the design and analysis of stormwater management systems that facilitate site development projects.
• Involves the sizing and design of stormwater detention and retention basins, along with preparing drainage calculations and reports.
• Review municipal, county, and state stormwater regulations.
• Coordinate with site civil designers to integrate drainage requirements into the overall site designs.
• Develop models and plan sheets using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Design roadways and general site development.
• Create quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Draft technical specifications for contractors.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering along with 2 years of pertinent civil engineering experience, or a demonstrated equivalent of education and/or experience.
• EIT certification or the ability to obtain it within 12 months of the hire date.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the role.
• A valid U.S. Driver’s License is necessary for visiting project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
• Proficient in creating models and plan sheets with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience in developing quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Familiarity with drafting technical specifications for contractors.
