This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Applies fundamental to intermediate engineering and/or landscape architecture principles to conduct design calculations, create technical reports, and develop design plans and details.
• Contributes to minor project decisions with the oversight of senior team members.
• Utilizes software such as CAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, InRoads, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other specialized programs to generate precise, high-quality design drawings.
• Reviews work for accuracy, incorporates revisions, and conducts backchecks to guarantee precision and adherence to project standards.
• Prepares and examines specifications, assesses submittals, and coordinates project documentation and submissions.
• Facilitates the creation of complex multi-discipline drawing sets, collaborating with technical, administrative, and design staff as necessary.
• Advocates for and follows quality assurance and quality control processes to improve deliverable quality and reduce design errors and omissions.
• Researches, interprets, and applies relevant design standards, regulations, codes, and permitting requirements to ensure compliance.
• Independently develops standard project details under supervision and maintains consistency across deliverables.
• Reviews shop and working drawings submitted by contractors to confirm technical accuracy and alignment with design intent.
• Assists in conducting design calculations, quantity takeoffs, technical specifications, and cost estimates to support project development.
• An Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a Technical discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant job experience is required.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation/InRoads, and/or Hydrologic and Hydraulic Software Packages for Site Layout, Grading, Utility, and Storm Water Management Plan design and/or other discipline-specific programs is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities, with the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.
