This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop machine learning models, statistical analyses, and data solutions that support decision-making.

• Collaborate closely with business and engineering teams to deliver value through reliable analyses and models.

• Create and train machine learning models (classification, regression, clustering, time series).

• Conduct exploratory data analyses, cleaning, transforming, and preparing datasets.

• Build model prototypes and document hypotheses, experiments, and results.

• Prepare and automate data collection and processing pipelines in conjunction with Data Engineering.

• Perform statistical validation, hyperparameter tuning, and A/B testing.

• Provide product and business teams with data-driven insights.

• Construct dashboards and analyses using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Apply best practices for code versioning and documentation.

• Ensure data quality and consistency of applied models.

• Engage in internal data communities, sharing learnings and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Chemistry; or a bachelor's degree in any field supplemented with a postgraduate course (specialization, master's, or doctorate) lasting a minimum of 360 hours in Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Chemistry.

• DESIRABLE CERTIFICATION: AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty or equivalent.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate or equivalent.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate or equivalent.

• Associate Certified Analytics Professional (aCAP®) or equivalent.

• Preferred experience: 2 years in the field as a Data Scientist, Systems Analyst, or similar, involved in developing software solutions in the Data Science domain.

• Knowledge of techniques for handling imbalanced datasets; application of techniques such as PCA, t-SNE, SVD; Natural Language Processing (NLP).

• Experience with Python and Databricks.
