This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +3 more countries.
• Evaluate and balance insider risks with business needs for the secure sharing of data with authorized third parties, regulatory bodies, and clients.
• Assist in safeguarding sensitive enterprise information while ensuring that security measures empower colleagues to perform their tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with the DLP Insider Threat Lead to identify and outline insider threat use cases.
• Conduct insider threat hunting utilizing security monitoring and various data sources.
• Examine security events, logs, and data patterns to detect suspicious behaviors and insider threat indicators.
• Pinpoint visibility, monitoring, and security control deficiencies across systems and platforms.
• Partner with technical and security teams to address these deficiencies and enhance controls.
• Create and advocate for effective threat hunting techniques.
• Participate in regular threat hunting efforts and automated alerting use cases.
• Investigate intricate security scenarios involving numerous systems and data sources.
• Escalate security concerns as necessary.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of DLP and Insider Threat capabilities.
• Over 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, security monitoring, DLP, insider threats, or a related domain.
• Extensive experience in data analysis and security monitoring.
• Strong expertise with SIEM platforms and log analysis.
• Excellent pattern recognition and analytical abilities for spotting suspicious or anomalous activities.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Purview DLP.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and security principles.
• Understanding of SaaS platforms and CASB solutions.
• Comprehension of insider threat concepts, techniques, and use cases.
• Knowledge of information security principles, controls, and practices.
• Awareness of concepts, tools, and practices related to cybercrime, fraud, and digital investigations.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to analyze complex scenarios involving multiple systems.
• Capability to identify security visibility and control deficiencies and collaborate with technical teams to resolve them.
• Proficient in communicating findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in English (C1 minimum).
• Must reside in Spain, Poland, the UK, or Portugal.
• A bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, Digital Forensics, or a related field is preferred.
• Certifications such as CCE, GCFA, Certified Computer Forensics Examiner, or equivalent are desirable.
• Experience in digital forensics and incident investigation is a plus.
• Background in developing or enhancing threat hunting methodologies is advantageous.
• Familiarity with creating automated security alerts and high-fidelity detection rules is beneficial.
• Experience with Microsoft security and compliance technologies is a plus.
• Understanding of banking systems, financial services, and banking operations is advantageous.
• Experience in large enterprises or regulated environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of data protection and information governance frameworks is desirable.
