This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Delivering both technical and commercial assistance to the sales team, which includes accompanying Sales Territory Managers and Sales Representatives to key users and engineering firms that operate within the C&I market.
• Aiding in the creation of targeted proposals and presenting them as agreed upon between Sales Representatives or Territory Managers in the C&I sector.
• Providing initial follow-up on leads generated from marketing initiatives and offering ongoing support for each account in the C&I domain.
• Facilitating or initiating connections with C&I end users, specifiers, and contractors as coordinated between the Regional Vice President and local Sales Territory Managers and representatives.
• Assisting with promotional efforts targeted at the C&I market, including Expos, Lunch and Learns, IEEE presentations, and similar activities with clients and technical consultants/specifiers.
• Collaborating with Sales Representatives and Territory Managers to promote S&C product specifications in the C&I market.
• Regularly communicating feedback to S&C Marketing concerning proposals, accounts, and competitive dynamics within the C&I sector.
• Offering first-level technical support to Power Systems Solutions regarding C&I applications and client needs during the installation and commissioning of C&I projects.
• Monitoring all C&I Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) in the designated area of responsibility.
• Engaging in start-up procedures, training, and support related to the company's equipment.
• Assisting in strategizing, following up, and finalizing orders as needed by the Sales Territory Managers.
• Proven experience with power systems, particularly at medium voltage, along with knowledge of switchgear products relevant to that expertise.
• A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively, with 50% travel required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey ideas in various settings.
• High level of proficiency with computer software and applications, with a preference for MS Office and Salesforce.com.
