This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Conduct psychosocial evaluations that adhere to evidence-based practices.
β’ Deliver individual, family, and group therapy to patients utilizing evidence-based treatment methods.
β’ Engage in collaborative care team meetings.
β’ Build cooperative relationships and referral agreements with community mental health providers.
β’ Assess the quality of patient services and monitor progress for patients referred to services.
β’ Complete necessary documentation, including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning, in a timely manner.
β’ Collaborate closely with patients, families, and the care team to address treatment hurdles.
β’ Maintain licensure and pursue professional development as mandated by the licensing board.
β’ A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from a program accredited by the American/Canadian Psychological Association (APA).
β’ A valid psychologist license in the states of practice (NY license required).
β’ NY Medicaid Provider Number.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of experience post-licensure.
β’ Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
β’ Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
β’ Capability to effectively engage, collaborate, and build meaningful relationships with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
β’ Proven understanding of trauma-informed care principles.
β’ Prior experience in providing teletherapy to children and adolescents.
β’ Previous experience in crisis intervention.
