This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Assist in fostering early childhood development, enhancing parenting resilience, and providing mobile services to communities.
• Design and execute programs aimed at strengthening family bonds, as well as implementing early intervention and prevention initiatives.
• Promote and support increased participation from First Nations and multicultural communities, enhancing family dynamics.
• Offer information, guidance, and referral pathways to families and individuals.
• Raise awareness regarding children's wellbeing while adopting a holistic approach to early childhood education, aligning family and child support to nurture children and adequately prepare them for learning and life.
• Recognize that the role is primarily conducted in remote areas, resulting in roughly 60% of work hours dedicated to travel and overnight stays in communities.
• A Tertiary Qualification or progression towards a Diploma or higher in Children’s Services, Counselling, Community Services, or a related field.
• A highly motivated and energetic individual with proven experience working with young children and their development, as well as supporting families and communities.
• A current Queensland driver’s license.
• A Blue Card.
