Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, MA Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Deliver psychiatric evaluations, create medication treatment plans, and provide ongoing medication management services to children and adolescents.

• Collaborate with the InStride care team as well as outpatient pediatricians and psychiatrists when relevant.

• Engage in clinical team meetings aimed at enhancing patient care, fostering collaboration, and promoting education.

• Schedule patient appointments as needed and ensure documentation is completed accurately and promptly.

• Offer insights on workflow enhancements and suggestions for program development and innovation.

• Work closely with families, primary care physicians, and outpatient prescribers to fulfill patients’ needs.

• Uphold a professional and welcoming environment for patients, families, staff, and referring physicians.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a Massachusetts MD license relevant to the clinical discipline.

• Willingness to obtain medical licenses in additional states as the service expands.

• Dedication to providing compassionate and considerate treatment.

• Proficient in medication management for children and teens dealing with anxiety, OCD, depression, and ADHD.

• Capability to complete documentation in a thorough and timely manner.

• Comfort in working as part of a care team, providing and receiving support.

• Exceptional written and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Ability to work autonomously and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced setting.

• Adaptability and flexibility.

• Competence in handling sensitive and confidential information with care.

• Basic computer proficiency and a willingness to embrace new technologies.
