Child & Adolescent Acute Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide simultaneous support to various emergency rooms, hospital medical units, and psychiatric crisis programs.

• Assess and treat patients experiencing crises.

• Identify the most suitable and least restrictive level of care for patients.

• Receive continuous assistance from the 24/7 access center during shifts.

• Direct or implement psychotherapeutic interventions.

• Prescribe medications for mental, emotional, or behavioral health disorders.

• Collaborate with partner healthcare teams utilizing a collaborative care model.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist.

• Possess unrestricted, independent licensure.

• Maintain established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles.

• Experience in providing psychiatric care across all age demographics.

• Proven experience in treating patients in acute crisis and delivering stabilizing care in 24/7 environments.

• Skilled in communicating with patients from diverse backgrounds and delivering culturally competent care.

• Proficient in working with multiple Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) concurrently.

• Advanced technical skills with laptops, cameras, monitors, Windows systems, Microsoft software, and EMR applications.

• Several years of experience in telehealth services.

• Access to private office space at home or another location to ensure confidentiality.

• Legally eligible for employment in the United States.

• Capability to secure additional state licensure and DEA licenses as needed.
