Chief Technology Officer – iGaming, Crypto

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the technology strategy and long-term vision for the group.

• Direct engineering, platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and security operations.

• Supervise blockchain infrastructure, digital wallets, payment systems, and digital asset integrations.

• Ensure platforms are highly scalable, secure, and perform exceptionally, maintaining excellent uptime and reliability.

• Promote engineering best practices, CI/CD, automation, quality assurance, and ongoing improvement.

• Manage relationships with third-party technology providers, overseeing integrations and strategic partnerships.

• Lead enterprise IT initiatives, internal systems, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity strategies.

• Build, mentor, and cultivate high-performing global engineering teams.

• Work closely with Product, Payments, Risk, Operations, and senior leadership to ensure technology aligns with business goals.

• Provide regular updates to the Board regarding technology performance, investments, risks, and upcoming initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or a senior technology leader in iGaming, betting, fintech, payments, or a similar high-scale setting.

• Robust background in modern software architecture, microservices, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and distributed systems.

• Practical experience with blockchain technologies, cryptocurrency payments, wallet infrastructure, and security best practices.

• Strong commercial acumen with experience in assessing build versus buy decisions and managing technology vendors.

• Proven track record of leading large engineering organizations through periods of growth, transformation, or restructuring.

• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.
