Chief Technology Officer – Cybersecurity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Cyber Solution Architecture for significant programs, CXO-level NTI/NPI initiatives, and substantial shifts in the technology landscape.

• Define and uphold modern, scalable architecture patterns that direct teams towards secure, high-quality solutions.

• Provide security architecture guidance to DT CTO teams, product teams, and P&L design teams.

• Lead cyber consulting for solution design efforts.

• Collaborate with Product Owners and engineering teams to convert strategy into actionable design guidance.

• Build and lead a cross-functional architecture and strategy team with expertise spanning applications, platforms, data, cloud, and cyber domains.

• Establish and oversee enterprise-wide technology standards, frameworks, and guardrails for cybersecurity.

• Own the Cyber Technology Strategy and roadmap.

• Supervise architecture assessments for critical solutions and platforms.

• Define and lead an AI innovation team within Cyber.

• Operationalize AI in Cybersecurity, focusing on AI-driven detection, automation, analytics, and decision support.

• Lead the design and construction of shared cyber platforms, including reference architecture and the underlying technology stack.

• Own the Cyber Data Fabric.

⛳️ Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in technology, cybersecurity, or architecture roles.

• Significant leadership experience within large, complex enterprises, preferably in aerospace and defense, critical infrastructure, or highly regulated industries.

• Proven success in leading enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or platform strategy at a large scale.

• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, architectures, and controls, including those related to cloud, data, and application security.

• Experience with AI/ML platforms and their use cases, along with security, privacy, and governance considerations.

• Demonstrated capability in building and leading multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong ability to influence CXO-level stakeholders, navigate intricate organizations, and drive alignment without direct authority.
