This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.
• Develop and implement the comprehensive technology strategy and roadmap for the studio.
• Guide, mentor, and expand a high-performing engineering team.
• Supervise the creation and launch of PC and console games from initial concept to final release.
• Ensure technical excellence, performance, and scalability in all projects.
• Collaborate closely with production, design, and art teams to ensure technical solutions align with the creative vision.
• Assess and integrate tools, engines, and pipelines (such as Unreal Engine or proprietary technology).
• Foster innovation while ensuring production stability and efficiency.
• Manage technical risks and make impactful architectural decisions.
• Over 10 years of experience in game development.
• Experience serving as a CTO (or in a comparable leadership role) on at least one released title.
• Involvement in the development of a minimum of 3 released games.
• Strong expertise in PC and console game development.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing senior engineering teams.
• Profound understanding of game engines, production pipelines, and workflows.
• Excellent architectural and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
• Native English speaker.
• Preferred qualifications include:
• Experience with renowned or commercially successful PC titles.
• Background in Unreal Engine or proprietary engine development.
• Experience in scaling teams and cultivating a technical culture within growing studios.
