This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Establish the long-term technological vision, ensuring alignment with business strategy, KPIs, and the technology roadmap.
• Oversee secure, resilient, and scalable architecture and infrastructure, making vital decisions about the transactional core and financial flows.
• Maintain information security and regulatory compliance by collaborating with regulators, auditors, and strategic partners.
• Guarantee high platform availability through ongoing monitoring and efficient incident management.
• Serve as a strategic partner to Product, ensuring technical feasibility and fostering innovation in payments and AI applications within the business.
• Design and develop the technology organization, nurturing strong leadership and high-performance teams.
• Administer the technology budget and manage strategic vendors, ensuring financial efficiency and operational sustainability.
• Demonstrated experience in technology leadership positions at the executive level (CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Technology).
• Background in payments companies, fintechs, digital banks, or regulated financial institutions.
• Proven track record of scaling technology organizations and managing high-volume transactional platforms.
• Experience working within regulated environments, including interactions with regulators and auditors.
• Extensive experience in distributed systems architecture and large-scale transactional platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of information security and compliance standards within the financial sector.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and strategies for scalable infrastructure.
• Structured understanding of data science and the implementation of AI models.
• Awareness of the payments ecosystem, including Pix, card networks, open finance, and financial integrations.
