Chief Technology Officer

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for all technology and engineering initiatives at Phoenix.

• Create and implement the long-term technical strategy for an AI-driven commerce platform.

• Build and manage a high-performing engineering team.

• Oversee the company's AI strategy and its execution roadmap.

• Promote AI integration throughout the product offerings.

• Handle recruitment, performance evaluation, and cultural development within the engineering department.

• Participate as a member of the executive leadership team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 5 years in leadership roles within engineering organizations.

• Background as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or a senior technical leader in a fast-paced growth setting.

• Experience in startup environments is essential.

• Proven track record in scaling teams, systems, and products effectively.

• Expertise in developing platform products for business customers.

• Strong enthusiasm for AI and cutting-edge technologies.

• In-depth knowledge of architectural and systems design.

• Experience in managing reliable, high-scale systems.

• Background in DTC commerce technology is preferred.

• Experience with payments or fintech infrastructure is preferred.

• Practical involvement in AI/LLM product development is preferred.

• Experience with B2B or B2B2C platforms is preferred.
