This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define and propel the technology strategy of the company, ensuring alignment with business goals and growth plans.

• Lead, organize, and nurture the engineering, data, and infrastructure teams, which includes hiring, team development, and establishing effective development processes and practices.

• Take responsibility for the architecture decisions of the company's platform, ensuring scalability, resilience, performance, and cost management.

• Oversee data governance and the lifecycle of analytical models, focusing on quality, traceability, monitoring, and auditability.

• Safeguard information security, data privacy (LGPD), and operational continuity, which includes disaster recovery strategies, backups, and service level agreements.

• Establish and uphold a technology governance framework that is compatible with regulated environments.

• Manage the technology budget and make informed decisions about building versus buying concerning third-party contracts.

• Serve as the technical representative for the Board, investors, and strategic partners, including assisting with fundraising activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

• Demonstrated experience in software development.

• Proven history in senior technical leadership positions.

• Experience in regulated settings and/or the financial industry.

• Security and compliance are regarded as critical requirements.

• Understanding of distributed systems architecture and multi-tenant platforms.

• Experience with data and machine learning in production settings.

• Established record of building and scaling high-performance engineering teams.

• Capability to communicate effectively with both executive and non-technical audiences.

• Proficient in English.
